Investigating the role of logistics factors on passive defense with the approach of structural equations (Case study: AJA Air Defense Force)

Success in any offensive or defensive operation depends on proper logistics systems. It is very important to identify the indicators of logistics factors in any offensive or defensive operation and to examine the effect of each indicator on the operation. The current research aims to identify and categorize logistics indicators with the help of exploratory factor analysis and investigate the role and effect of these indicators on passive defense by means of confirmatory factor analysis in 1400. The statistical population of the research is defense specialist employees, according to the purpose of the research, 180 people were collected from the questionnaire using available sampling method. The current research is exploratory-applicative in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method. After reviewing the research literature and interviewing experts, using SPSS software and exploratory factor analysis, 15 indicators were identified in the form of 3 dimensions or hidden variables. In the following, the factor load of each index was determined by using the structural equation modeling method (SEM) with Lisrel software. Based on the findings of the research, all 3 research hypotheses including: the effect of meaning in logistics tactics, logistics manpower factor and logistics technologies on passive defense were confirmed. The technology factor with an effect of 0.64 has the greatest effect on passive defense in the field of logistics, and the military and human factors are in the next ranks, respectively.
