Designing a Model for Aligning Individual and Organizational Goals

Abstract
Background and Objective: Alignment of individual and organizational goals in government organizations has a great impact on employee performance, organizational commitment, and reducing intra-organizational conflicts. Considering the complexities of organizational environments and the need for synergy between individual and organizational goals, designing a model for aligning these goals is of particular importance. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to design a model for aligning individual and organizational goals in government organizations.
Methodology: This study is qualitative in terms of the nature of the data and has used a systematic data-driven strategy. Semi-structured interviews with managers of government organizations were used to collect data, which reached theoretical saturation in 15 interviews.
