Background & Purpose: The characteristic of today's world is the complexity, innovative educational, educational and technological developments that these components have brought the category of education into new and innovative conditions. One of these major trends in the field of education is the implementation and development of reversed and blended methods. Thus, the main goal of this research is to compare the new blended and reversed teaching method with the traditional method in the progress of the general English language course of the cadets of Shahid Sattari Aeronautical University of Science and Technology.
Methodology: The type of research in terms of practical purpose and in terms of data collection method is part of semi-experimental research and pre-test and post-test control group design. The statistical population of the research was all the students applying for general English language course (Supplementary Language 2, n = 356), of which there were two groups of 15 cadets. They are organized randomly in two experimental and control classes by available sampling method. The data collection tool is to observe the pre-test scores and the end-of-semester scores of the general English course (supplementary language 2).
Findings: The results indicate that the average scores of the students in the post-test of the two experimental and control groups have a significant difference from each other.
Conclusion: It can be concluded that mixed and reversed teaching method has had a significant effect on general English language learning and can replace traditional methods as a new method in teaching English.
