Background & Purpose: The present study was conducted with the aim of modeling the effects of strategic human resources management on the empowerment of employees of the Imam Ali (AS) Officers' University with the role of mediating innovation in the organization.
Methodology: In this research, the descriptivecorrelation method with the type of structural equation modeling was used, the statistical population of the study consisted of all employees of Imam Ali (AS) Officers' University, which consisted of 700 people. In order to determine the sample size, stratified random sampling method was used. The measurement tools included Russell et al.'s employee empowerment questionnaire, Chang and Hong's strategic management questionnaire, and Liao and Wu's organizational innovation questionnaire. Structural equation model and path analysis using AMOS software were used for data analysis
Findings: The findings showed that strategic management has an impact on the empowerment of the employees of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth in Semnan province, directly and through the mediation of innovation
Conclusion: The results of the study showed that the fitness of the employee empowerment prediction model based on strategic human resource management with the role of mediating innovation in the organization is supported by the research data at an appropriate level of the theories used and is considered appropriate for explaining the model. Therefore, strategic management directly and through the mediation of innovation has an impact on the empowerment of employees at Imam Ali (AS) Military University. Strengthening strategic management in the form of strategic decision-making, interaction with external stakeholders, and carrying out human resource management activities in organizations can lead to improved employee empowerment through improved modernization.
